sweet. definitley vocalize it.

an dif you do add vocals, pm me too please. i _love_ NG musics with vocals.

around 2:35, the cymbl (or whatever it is) is a little grating. i suggust working on that.

NuKeMOuT responds:

Thank you for your review! Unfortunately all of my work on this song is lost and all I have left is a .WAV file. I would have trashed this song but it was too good for me to throw it away.. so I leave to the wolves on newgrounds for review.

good.

i can't really identify what it is, but htis song just kind of clicks for me. nice work.

DarqueHand responds:

Well I'm glad you like it. :)

um.... i think hardcore may be mislabling

i think this is a decent song, but it needs some work. for one thing, the very name of hardcore makes me thing of bass. this song has none. also, the main instrument kind of gets annoying. it has potential though.

ONESTEPAHEAD responds:

THANKS I accually toke out my bass because it was overwhelming, but thier is some bass still near the end though.(and i said it was a hardcore intention meaning i was attempting hardcore maybe ill do better next time)

what's missing is the percussion in the begining.

even though i know there wasn't any in the begining. but for 8 bit percussion, just use super low gameboys.

anyway, i think you did a good job... not very helpful am i though.

pheel responds:

Well Goukisan's started off without any drums and just the guitar which is what I went for. Trying to stay as true to the original as possible.

I might take a crack at that :)

Thanks for reviewing :)
Helpful or not it's much appreciated.

OoO epicepicepic

nice remix, man. the origional was only a 45-60 second loop, i asm impressed you were able to amke it this long and stil have it sound... good. i like it.

Haxo-JJ responds:

thanks a lot :) i really liked the theme so i tried hard to make it sound cool

sweet!

this is real;y good! do you mind if i use this as a boss theme in a game i'm working on?

MashedByMachines responds:

Sure, go ahead :) be sure to tell me when its done so I can play your game :)

right up to your usual standards.

nice. often when people make a song like this, they have something that isn't quite metal and isn't quite rock, so it comes out as either a bleating rock or weak metal. you nailed general rock, even using guitar harmonics as the main instrument, which is a balance i have NEVER seen before in my life. epic props.

to be honest, a few of your other recent entries were really not up to your usual standards. this song, while it doesn't make your top 5, is as good as i expect. so i am

i feel like this hasn't been a very helpful reveiw. i honestly can't see anywhere this song needs improving. the drumbeat, guitars, and subtle.... either violin or dist/overdrive guitar in the back all work together.

......and is it just me, or did you actually take my advice and add slight noise to the drums to make them sound more real? becasue those drums sound much less synthed than anything else you have done. that would honestly be the first time anyone has ever listened to me on something like this.

...i love this song. i am so downloading this.

FairSquare responds:

Well, your review IS helpful, but in an other way.
Reviews like this are really nice to get and boost my selfconfidence a bit :P
Thanks for the review man, i appreciate it alot :-)

niiiiiiiice. but your voice it a bit cracked.

do i have permission to re-record this song, me singing over? because that would be so cool.... i'd send you a link. anyway i won't do it if you say i can't. but i would love to do that.

anyway, if this is your first vocal peice my advice is to stick to it. was this all one take by the way? i mean did you sing from the begining to end? because when i record mysdelf or others singing, i do each verse seperatley. it prevents you from running out of breath like i think you did about 2 mins in. just a suggustion.

i'll be blunt, you aren't the best singer ever. but this somehow works perfectly. this song is SOOO on my ipod. already.

the lyrics are poetry, the entire thing is beautiful. i love it. and here i thought you were just amazing at techno. :)

FairSquare responds:

Lol, i didn't sing this, Yomismo did that.
And you have permission to re-sing it if you think you can do it better ;-)
Oh, and about techno... techno is actually one of my weaker genres, Classical music is my best (i think)
And if you want to have the instrumental version of this, just look at my song ''Music Is Power''.
Thanks for the review man!

epic.

it's not your best work, but i like it. i actually only have one little problam with it that nobody else hasn't said, which is that that snare drum is... exactly the same as everybody else's snare drums. seriously, if it weas me i would take the entire peice and add a 0.05% audio imperfection to it to make it sound more realistic. other thsan that snare drum thing (aand that problem isn't unique to your peice) i love it. as i aleady said, not your best work tho. good stuff anyway!

FairSquare responds:

Lol, sorry for the late response :P
Thanks for the review!

i likey teh song

this is a good song. the only problem i had was that the intro isn't very interesting and it is too long. if this was on my ipod, i would be skipping it all the time. so my advice would be to shorten the intro a bit.

DoctorAttitude responds:

Thanks for the advice mate, and thanks for the response :)
